Had my first ejaculation tonight horrified to see dark red blood

You weren't told that this would happen? It's entirely normal! You've had dozens of holes made in your prostate - you'll have blood in your semen for several months. It should eventually go almost black as the dead blood cells darken in colour and then gradually clear up.

You can expect a lot more waiting for your biopsy results and final diagnosis.

Haematospermia and strawberry semen is entirely normal after a biopsy, and you might find yourself ejaculating or urinating blood clot lumps for the next few weeks. Pump out as much as you can, whilst you still can!
