no testosterone problem

hi,i have just been recently been put on statins and aspirin and nitrates,all because of zero testosterone,i have asked for some test but they said not a good idea,i am willing to take a chance now that i am beginning to have heart problems,i finished zoladex in 2016 and all my psa results have been undetectable,why is it some endos will do it and some wont as long as they are monitored,i see jt who is on here was prescribed test with the same as me with seminal vessicle invasion,he is gleason 9 and i am gleason 7,i sent him a message and he is doing ok,any help please thanks.

I have to agree with you I think you should be on testosterone replacement. You finished HT because they thought it was safe for the testosterone to come back, for some reason it has not came back, but presumably they still think it would be safe if it did come back.


You were treated with curative intent, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary I think we should assume you are cured.


So as the lack of testosterone is causing problems I think it should be replaced.


Of course if cancerous prostate cells still exist, you may have a problem, but you know the risk and are prepared to take it.


I don't know what you do now, get a second opinion?
