Urination following biopsy

Had transrectal biopsy a week ago. Prior to this, peeing normally and up maybe twice in night. Since biopsy, very slow to start peeing and flow is weak, and up 4 times during night. Is this usual and will it improve?

I think it will improve. I don't remember having that problem myself. But it had a bit of a bashing with those needles so it is probably swollen and will probably recover in a week or two.

Yes, it's normal. Your prostate has been bruised and has swollen up. It'll return to normal over the next couple of weeks.
