IMPROVER (Involving Men with Prostate Cancer in Engaged Research) is a study funded by the Irish Research Council, led by Associate Professor Antoinette Perry, UCD in conjunction with the Irish Cancer Society and Breakthrough Cancer Research.
The aim of this study is to understand the opinions and needs of patients and healthcare professionals regarding the detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer. This information will help inform the development of a new urine test for aggressive prostate cancer, epiCaPture, and to improve the outcome for prostate cancer patients.
