Fighting for Ill health retirement

User

Diagnosed April 2018 with Metastisised PC to hip, pelvis and lymphs, chemo and Zoladex, on the later since diagnosis, worsening brutal side effects to the point where I can no longer work, now nearly 64. Any help in what terminology to use when fighting for enhanced I'll health retirement would be very much appreciated

I would recommend being brutally honest about the impact of cancer and it’s treatment.

Describe how it has affected you and the things you find more difficult to do and don’t pull your punches. It’s the only way they will truly know and possibly understand your position and make decisions accordingly.

I got reports from my employer’s occupational health doctor, a GP, my rheumatologist and my oncologist too.

The PCUK and MacMillan staff can help with advice on this this too.
