re erection

Have just finished my 20 sessions of radiotherapy, and thanks to this site all went well, it sure was an experience.

Now concerned about erectile problems I seem to be having at the moment, I dread telling the gp about it. Any thoughts .

That's the official name for them - & yes, you can get them on the NHS. They are around £150 to buy, so your GP may not be too keen - but your Hospital Oncologyst can perscribe them - or other Hospital staff. A senior nurse, wrote my script - it had to be especially ordered in - not from Boots though, they were useless.

I found it a slight help, the Lady friend was a LOT more help to be honest !!!!

Of course, this was just before COVID had reared it's ugly head.

Good luck.

There is little under your bio so unknown whether you have been having HT. Should this be the case, it may well be that this is the reason for lack of erections made worse by recent RT.

Yes, get to your GP & get some Tadalafil -it's a sort of low-dose daily Viagra. After a while, it CAN cause slight indigestion in some.
It helps the blood circulation also, in the area it is needed.
Assuming you have & are still having Hormone therapy. It is a great help.
As has been said - you GP will have heard it all before. You can also get on the NHS, a "Dick stretching kit"
That's what I call it - can work wonders with some.
Anything involving a Man's"Meat & 2 Veg" can be difficult to discuss for some.

Trying to be diplomatic 😊...

So if you have a "Good lady" who really likes lollypops, - that will work a lot better, than any NHS gadget 😎
You will most probably need the Tadalafil as well, to counter the lack of Testosterone - sadly, not a huge amount of pleasure for you - but at least the good lady will be happier for it.......
Eventually, all your feelings will return, once you have the HT out of your system - though, probably dry like me - but look on the bright side, no mess to clear up.... 😾
The alternative - well there is not really one, but there is no nooky at all - under the daisies....

Hi Bob,

What does the 'Dick-stretching' kit consist of and how do you obtain that on the NHS?

Thanks,

Jonny.
