Worried/Concern

Recently had a prostate biopsy after finding PSA level was up. Had an MRI and now the biopsy. Awaiting the results now.
So didn’t read where it’s recommended not to have sexual activity 48-72 hours after biopsy, but ejaculated just a day after. Concerned I shouldn’t have done that. Not having any problems but still worried.

It is probably better to not ejaculate  for around 3 days after having a biopsy to aid healing but I doubt that doing so will cause any major problems. It is best to ejaculate as soon as as the "resting" time has passed to get the  biopsy puncture wound blood out of your system as if left in it turns the colour of rust and  shows up on subsequent scans.

Well will refrain from here on out until it’s safer.

Hi,

I am pretty certain I wasnt advised of any need to refrain from ejaculating or given any literature other than re preparation for the biopsy.

My wife and I were a little surprised when we made love that night. Clean up was a bit more extensive than usual. We had a laugh though.

Cheers J
