Just have to see what happens with the scan.
Is tamsulosin the right medication, ? I will have a suprapubic catheter life , it would stop you getting up at night but would not solve the problem once removed again and could make your bladder lazy . My bladder capacity shrunk after treatments and a catheter was the only option. I take trospium chloride which is used to treat an over active bladder or in my case bladder spasms.
How much can your bladder hold, do you urinate more often at night than during the day.
As you say avoiding a catheter is ideal, especially a urethral catheter, i do manage quite well with my catheter, but physical work does sometimes create issues.
Self catheterization may help if you are not voiding a large amounts of urine.
Hopefully your investigations will find an answer.
Thanks Chris
