SEAMEN CULTURE TEST FOR PROSTRITIS

I had an infection in my Urine Culture which come out positive for bacterial bugs. My GP says it is PROSTARITTIS and suggested me 4-week antibiotics. He confirmed sometimes Urine culture doesn't show any bacteria but bugs are there deep there inside your prostate which cant be detected by the Urine Culture test as this test is more related to any bugs in the Urinary tube or Urethra or in the bladder.

As main function of Prostrate is to produce the semen fluid so i am wondering if we have seamen culture test to find out any bacterial bugs then it will confirm if there is prostatitis in Prostrate even when Urine Culture is negative

I am not sure if there is any SEAMEN CULTURE TEST for bacteria .. Any thoughts on above is highly appreciated

There is a test, but not of semen, it's done with expressed prostatic fluid.

Bacterial Prostatitis (about 15% of cases of Prostatitis) often results in no bacteria showing up in either urine or semen, because the areas of infection have got themselves blocked off by the infection. In this case, a urologist will massage the prostate to get some prostatic fluid and infection for culturing. This sometimes has to be done under general anesthetic because prostatitis can be too painful otherwise.

It can be very difficult to find a urologist who is competent in dealing with Prostatitis, it's something very few urologists specialise in.
