Pelvic Floor Exercises during/after Radiotherapy

I wonder if it's wise to do pelvic floor exercises during, or soon thereafter, salvage radiotherapy (or with prime RT for that matter). I have just completed 20 sessions of SRT and feel my sides are all churned up, not to mention the discomfort I have in drawing in those muscles. If you agree, how long should I leave it?

Nobody ever mentioned PFEs during my RT. I don’t believe they form part of a normal RT treatment regime, unlike an RP.

Cheers,

Chris

holding a full bladder in the waiting room is a pretty good test of your pelvic floor - if you can avoid weeing on the floor for half an hour, you probably don't need to do any additional exercises!

That's certainly true. It was a "challenge" on occasions 😁.
