Researchers from University College London (UCL) are looking for volunteers for research into digital mental health support for men with prostate cancer.
Receiving a diagnosis of prostate cancer can be a very difficult experience, and men quite often access support for their mental health as a result. During the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health support services shifted from in person to digital. For example, through email, telephone, online Live Chats, online support groups, or social media.
Researchers are interested in learning about your experience using these services during the pandemic. This will help researchers to learn which digital methods should be used to better support men with prostate cancer in the future.
Participation involves:
- Attending one small group interview, lasting 60-90 minutes. Interviews will take place online via video conference, using Microsoft Teams.
- Discussing your experiences with mental health support during the pandemic, particularly with digital methods.
Date/Time
Mon 6th June - 1-3pm
