Hi guys

Little update...had consultation and 6th infusion of cabizitaxel over the last few days,consultation was mixed result's,in a nutshell it could be better but it could be worse,will monitor and see what the next scans and x-rays say in 8 werks.Gearing up for the next few days with side effects from chemo,off to local hospital today for pre-assesment on kidney stent will be a nice change to travel for 20mins rather than over 3 hrs.

Hi Phil. Sorry to hear things aren’t going exactly to plan. Hopefully the scans and x-rays will show some improvement. Seems like ages to wait for 8 weeks. 

Good luck with the stent today. Hope that all goes well. 

Spoke to one of my team yesterday and she said it’s good my PSA has come down to 54 from 56. Must admit last time I heard it was 48. But it’s bouncing around that level. Anyway she said all good for the next radium in 2 weeks.

Thinking of you buddy . Everything crossed for you …👍

Hi all

Little update.....7th cycle of Cabizitaxel given yesterday,lower back pain seems to have eased a little so hopefully the drug is working,should have my latest PSA results soon so will post on my next update,woke up this morning like I've been lying under a sunbed all night with my Rosie cheeks so side effects are as expected.

Have signed me and my son up for chris hoys tour de four in September in Glasgow so hoping to get there,have raised over £500 for prostate cancer UK so far so am well pleased with that.

I've been watching out for your update. 

Cycle 7 done and dusted, hope it has had a positive effect on your psa.

And signing up for the Chris Hoy event. Blimey what troopers you and your son are.
