Abdominal pain- related to the cancer or not?

My husband has been complaining of pain deep inside the abdomen to the left of his belly button for the past few weeks. It is fairly persistent, is usually dull but nagging.

We thought it was linked to digestion but the digestion meds given to him are not making any difference to it.

I am wondering if it could be linked to the prostate cancer?

I've had something similar for the last month. I treated it as some sort of indigestion, and sometimes the pain went away for a while, but always returned. Turned out to be a kidney stone making a bid for freedom. It finally made it (I hope), but not without putting me into hospital overnight. If you think this might be the case with your husband then Google the NHS website for advice on dealing with it before it gets serious.

Your profile doesn't provide any details of your husband's cancer diagnosis. It would be very helpful if you could fill in a bit of "history" to allow us to give a more informed answer.
