I had my RALP surgery three months ago. Fortunately I managed to avoid most of the common side effects but have been plagued by discomfort in my backside. The closest analogy is the soreness after an extremely hot curry the night before. The sensation is one of a stinging pain that lasts for quite a while. It almost feels as though something like gastric juices or something acidic is coming into contact with the sensitive skin. Doesn’t occur every day but when it does it’s pretty uncomfortable.
