Hi all, this week it will be 10 years since RP. My PSA from day one has always been 0.02 & i do consider myself one of the lucky ones. Been in this group since Nov 2012 & has been great to get loads of answers from my many questions in the early days from people who have been there & got the T shirt. Great group & good luck to everyone on there journey

What a great result! Some of us are on a more convoluted journey, but it is encouraging to know it is possible for recurrences to be avoided.

Fingers crossed (for me)!

Well done! Hopefully you'll continue with regular PSA tests?

Cheers,

What a great post, gives us hope. Thank you. My husband had his surgery in March 2022 at Addenbrookes with [Doctors name removed by moderator] . So far so good. We just keep hoping his PSA stays undetectable 🀞

Yes, lost count the number of psa's iv'e had over the years (around 20?) but will continue yearly as this was my red flag warning about PC!

Hello Fenman.  Thanks for your post.   Glad you’ve been signed off by Addenbrookes, many congratulations!! I was only diagnosed on 3/12/23 and have an appointment at Addenbrookes next week to discuss treatment options. I confess to being nervous but I’m confident all will be well in the end.

Hi Sapper71.

After a lot of research on which surgeon to use I opted for him on his experience. He obviously did a good job on me now being 11 years clear!

Good luck on your journey & if you have any questions at all please come back to me as I have learned an lot about RP/PC over the yearsπŸ‘
