Rectal Bleeding new symptom

Hi again

My father has had some rectal bleeding as a new symptom. He has just finished some radiotherapy. Could this be a symptom of the radiotherapy? He’s also on anticoagulants? Or could it be that the cancer is progressing? Any advice please?

I had brachytherapy and radiotherapy last year approx 12 months ago and this February had a small rectal bleed which did frighten me so had a test which proved not to be bowel cancer.

On reading my information back after my op etc this isn't an uncommon side affect.

So I would like to know myself will this clear up improve or get worse.

I appreciate and you have my sympathy
