Reduced PSA after 3 months HT is this a positive sign?

My OH was diagnosed with PCa T3a back in October 22 bone scan confirmed no spread and initial MRI indicated no spread to lymph nodes. He is on HT for four months prior to starting RT in March. We were advised by the oncologist to have another PSA test after 8 weeks of HT.  This was down from 3.54 to 0.11 which we are really pleased about. Does this mean the HT is working and we can take it as a positive sign?

My OH had various blood tests which highlighted abnormal results for cholesterol and liver which we are assuming will be a result of the HT.

Are we right to be feeling positive about the reduced PSA or is this not very significant at the moment?

I’d really appreciate any thoughts/advice. Thank you

It is normal for the PSA to fall as soon as HT begins - it would be exceptionally rare for HT not to work
