My MRI stated this.

Multiple PI-RAD 3 intermediate suspicion index
lesions bilaterally in the transitional zone as above. Enlarged
prostate gland primarily by the transitional zone with
intravesicular protrusion.

I go for a biopsy in a couple of weeks.  I'm worried about cancer because the doctor said the tumors were a dime size.

Fingers crossed for you that you do not have prostate cancer but even if you do with your PSA scores it is likely to be very treatable. Most men of 60 and over have prostate cancer, with most dying, especially when treated, of something other than the cancer.

The likes of Rod Stewart, Jools Holland, Michael Parkinson, Billy Connolly, Ben Stiller have all been diagnosed with prostate cancer and all appear to be doing well.

Until you have had the biopsy you won't know what the exact state of play is.

It would be useful to know your age, PSA score etc

Although your PSA has increased between Dec 21 and Nov 22 it has in the past gone up and down which often suggests an infection rather than a sign of having prostate cancer. The intravesical protrusion that you mentioned in your original posting is a manifestation of benign prostatic hyperplasia so it is quite possible when the biopsy is undertaken that no cancer will be found.

Results were negative for cancer.   Yesssss.  Now I need to see the doc about BPH because I prostate is very big and causing peeing problems.  Don’t want my prostate removed.

Tamsulosin will probably help with the peeing issues. Ask your GP for a prescription for it.

Best wishes,

Chris

Thanks everyone.  I've been on Tamsulosin for a few months even went up to 2 pills a day.  I got a feeling that when I see the Doc next week, he will recommend TURP or something along that line.  I want to keep it simple and nothing major.
