I have received a letter from the Royal Marsden to say that I did not pass the screening process for clinical trials for Advanced Prostrate Cancer.
Does anyone know what the criteria is for being accepted on a trial?
Thanks
The screening process varies depending on which trial it is. The following has many prostate trials listed and you can find the criteria for each one.

Just as an example one trial for advanced prostate cancer may only recruit people who are newly diagnosed as advanced, whereas another might only recruit people who were diagnosed as local, treated, but then had recurrence as advanced cancer.
It is fairly common for a trial to exclude people who have other conditions. For example, heart trial may exclude cancer patients as the cancer treatment may interfere with whatever is being tested, and vice versa.
