HIFU guided by 9 month old MRI?

Is there any research into the efficacy of focal treatment related to the interval between the treatment and the MRI used to guide it?

There can be significant change between yearly MRIs, so is there a reduction in accuracy and effectiveness if the treatment takes place 8-11 months after the scan?

Focal therapies require very good imaging. Often they'll redo what you've already had done. Ibe surprised if they'd be prepared to use old images.
