2 weeks after RT and localised and having occasional twinges in my lower back. Feels like a muscle twinge. Anyone else have this? Just random. On HT as well. Every twinge even now and I think it’s spread! Although I don’t think 2 weeks on the couch as helped me because I don’t want to disturb the OH getting up in the night for a pee every hour! That’s settling down nicely now and going 4 hours so twice a night currently. Back to bed tonight 😀

The RT will have cooked quite a few bits of your nether regions - they target the Prostate as best they can, but it is impossible not to radiate to a lesser degree nearby organs - Bladder, Rectum etc, all get some burning. As with any burn, they will recover as healthy tissue will - The Cancer in the prostate will NOT recover. Thats how it works.
