Hi everyone, I am due to have my surgery on May 17th and am thinking about getting supplies in.  Can anyone suggest what products I should stock up on.

Many thank

Hi,

Stretchy trousers for when you have the catheter in place, eg. Brasher trousers from Millets.

Tena pads, level 2 certainly, even level 3. L3s get heavy as they fill though I found. Packs of 120 from Amazon or other suppliers.

Boxer briefs accomodate the pads well, eg Danish Endurance I have found.

P.

I was given a 24 week supply of Tena Man 3 pads by the hospital when the catheter was removed. But I’m guessing not all areas have the same protocols. I also used the Tena Man 2  as I wasn’t leaking badly, and preferred these as they are a little less bulky.

Loose fitting trousers are ideal for comfort, and boxer shorts weren’t a problem.

I wish you well on your journey.
