Morning all.

Mr Norfolk has just related an amusing account of his biopsy, in which he mentioned, that the during the procedure they were playing background songs.

This made me think, what songs would you deem appropriate or  inappropriate, as background music for biopsies and DREs.

I don't want to,  in anyway, to make light of people's concerns  but thought this conversation, would prove even if they've taken our prostates, they haven't taken our sense of humour.

The moderators have obviously okayed it, but let's keep it reasonably clean, to avoid offence.

Adrianus, you’re not making light of anything …one thing I have learned on this journey is you can either laugh or cry…and it’s FAR better to laugh.

I must admit it actually made me smile during my biopsy last week, there I am in a position usually adopted by the turkey prior to going in the oven, and there’s all the usual Christmas favourites blaring out of the radio in the room - now I won’t  be able to hear any of them again without thinking of it! 🀣🀣🀣

I know first hand that it’s a very worrying time, but I do think that if you can find humour at times like these it can help big time.
