I see a new drug Veozah has been approved for women going through the menopause  to help with hot flushes. It’s non-hormonal. I’m wondering if this might help men suffering hot flushes whilst on HT?

There were a couple of posts about this a few months ago. It is approved by the regulator, but that does not mean it is approved by NICE as cost effective.

From what I remember it improved symptoms in about 30% of cases. It costs about £400 a month. So it is unlikely to be approved for NHS use.

Thats interesting ….on BBC they said about £45 per month although you would need to pay for a private consultation to get a prescription, but not sure if that could be done on repeat?
