Great news Adrian, enjoy your beer 🍺

Good news fella, it's been over 2 years for me undetectable following RP.

Interesting to read in you original post about that cancer monster lurking somewhere in the background. I would guess many of us feel the same, me included.

I've just had my two years post op PSA results. Still <0.02. I'm over the moon!

I hope as a Gleason 9er with capsule breach cancer (T3a) that my results give others hope.

Good luck to you all.👍

That is a great result considering your staging and Gleason score. Your surgeon deserves a pat on the back.

Excellent news Ady, long may it continue!

Fantastic news Adrian.

Worth celebrating with a pint or two 🍻

Great news mate, I was wondering how you had got on. A celebratory sherbet or two are called for then 👍

Indeed he does Chris. I was impressed with him from the outset. He seemed confident without being arrogant. He answered all my questions and warned me of possible complications and side effects. He was smartly dressed and had shiny shoes. I think clean shoes says a lot about a man. 🙂 Plus I checked his record on the BAUS site, and it was good. Sadly, I don't think you, can do this anymore.

Today I'll send his secretary an email asking her to pass on my thanks to him and send a copy to his CEO.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I did go to the Club yesterday and got the good news whilst I was there. I had one or two celebratory pints. I kept the celebrations muted as one of my mates there, who had prostate surgery 6 months before me, was told couple of weeks ago that he had BCR and is still awaiting the results of his scan.

I know that the Gleason 9 and extraprostatic extension still significantly increase my risk of recurrence. It is still early days, but so far so good.👍

Great news 👍🏻 🍻

Twenty seven month PSA check result <0.02 still undetectable. 🥳

Plus liver function is spot on.

Two great reasons to have a few beers to celebrate.🍻

I hope this gives hope to others with a high Gleason and T3a staging,  who opted for surgery.

However, I shall always be mindful of others who've not fared so well.

Fantastic news Adrian!

It's almost as though your liver has given you permission to have a couple of beers later 😅

Cheers,

Kev.

Cheers, mate. I'm making the best of my liver's consent. I'm on the back garden bench, it's Scorchio here, and having my first tinny. I'm also toasting my surgeon, who must have done a bloomin' good job.

Excellent news. As a fellow T3a but 14 months behind your results continue to give me hope.

You are doing the right thing in staying hydrated in these hot conditions.
