I had a full blood test on Monday, a week before seeing the consultant. The result shows I am suffering from mild anaemia, never had this problem before. Everything else is in within the range. Consulted Chat GB and it turns out, it is the expected side effects of the hormone therapy. It explains lack of energy and tiredness. Of course, radio therapy is also a contributary factor.

Lets see what the consultant is going to say on Monday.

I was seen by a specialist nurse and she said blood tests results are within range even if in some cases slightly out of range. Next appointment is in 6 months.

Hi Guys & Gal's

saw urologist regarding atrophy but was assured it was a build up of peri pubic fat giving the appearance of shrinkage (phew!) Also have a lipid clinic appointment on the 4th March so should get some help with the cholesterol (5.6 on latest test).

Saw Oncologist yesterday with some good news latest CT scan showing massive reduction in cancer cells from 10 months ago, PSA down to 0.14 testosterone 0.2 . Was told that Testosterone is not the main contributor to muscle growth / fat gain and that maintaining the gym regime was working very well, there was no increase in weight over the last 3 months and I'm maintaining an average of 1880 Cal / day (over 3 weeks).

Saw GP regarding Mood swings and was prescribed sertraline 50 mg per day and to be honest they seem to be having a very positive effect (according to my wife) so will continue to have them.

have a weight management consultation in a couple of weeks, lets see what they say.

still having a "glow on" and have also been overheating in bed and chilled when i remove the duvet same as Liam 64, still have sleeping issues from 12 hours straight to 3 hours max not worked that one out yet. . .

good luck and keep chugging along

Tombone :)

Hello my fellow members,

I have been on Orgovyx/relugolix for over a year now. My last blood test was at the end of January 2026. The test results show PSA down to less than 0.01, slightly pre-diabetic and anemia. Nothing serious, all part of expected side effects. However, lately I have a more pronounced pains and aches in my back, hips and knees. Taking paracetamol is now routine. I never really likes liver but now desire and eat lamb liver regularly, probably in response to the very slight anemia. Another interesting side effect is the involuntary twitching of the legs, particularly at the end of the day. I drink more spirits now, partially to deal with the aches and stiffness and partially to enjoy life, what else is there? Same with eating, I try to eat less and healthily but not all the time. I walk regularly, at list 3-4 miles a day. I am told to join a gym but my physiotherapist advised against it due to mt chronic lower backache and sciatica. Next hospital appointment is in August. If they decide to stop taking Orgovyx, I buy everyone a drink!

Hi Feridun, i was having hip pain and was taking paracetamol 8 x 500 mg per day, but they did not reduce the pain, my oncologist prescribed me ibuprofen to be taken with the paracetamol, believe it or not the hip pain disappeared within  30 min's of taking it, that was some time ago, i'm now on 1 x400mg ibuprofen and 2 500mg paracetamol twice a day, have a chat with your oncologist / GP .

Good luck :)
