Hi all, advice needed RE risks associated with taking a flight (Canaries) during chemo. I’m physically fit, young (44) tolerating 7 weeks of hormone therapy with no side effects and reduction in PSA 31 down to 1.9. Stage 4, Gleason 9 completely asymptomatic.
I start chemo in one month 6 cycles. My wife and I are agonising over the next 6 months and trying to plan holidays. Of course if chemo puts me through the wringer I’ll take it easy but if I tolerate it well and keep up my running keep working etc is it foolhardy to consider a cheapie to Tenerife or somewhere?
Am aware of the immunosupression and infection risk. Has anyone flown during chemo? Would you just avoid it? Thanks all for the feedback in advance.

Hi, we went to Spain mid chemo with no issues whatsoever. Good luck and enjoy your travels
