I'd like to ask a stupid question.

As per the Header

If 2 gentleman presented with Pca and had identical tumours and their bodies reacted to cancer in identical ways and all other things were equal, if one of them was 5'6" and 8st and the other was 6'7" and 25st and estimating that the larger gentleman may have 50% more blood flowing through his system, would their PSA readings be approx inversely proportional to that, ie would the larger gentleman have reading of 66% PSA of the smaller gentleman and is this something clinicians would ever factor into their calculations?

Aagh, Richard, is there a Dr in the house?

Sort of related, I sometimes wonder if the set dose volume of drugs like Zoladex has more effect on men with lower body weight than those who are heavier?

Maybe the answer to both is that it's not so much body weight that matters as how effectively a person's organs, like the kidneys and liver, function in their roles of keeping the bodily systems in balance, but it's a perfectly good question.

I doubt there would be any difference. It's a bit like alcohol. I've known little blokes who can stay standing  after gallons and big blokes who keel over after 4 or 5 pints. So it can't have anything to do with the centre of gravity.

Hi Richard,

Theres no such thing on here as a ‘stupid question’, but I have absolutely NO idea what the answer is.

I’m 6ft 3 inches and keel over after 2 pints, 5 or 6 would kill me🤣🤣🤣🤣
