Little realized affect of Tamsulosin

I am aware that like myself who has been on Tamsulosin for many years, there are other members who are on this medication.  It was only very recently at a prior assessment for eye surgery that I learnt it was because of this drug that a major eye testing chain could never get my eyes to properly dilate and were unable to see what was going on and the pictures they took never showed anything.  Even my local hospital gave up after 6 tries so I transferred to another hospital who used something more powerful.  So be aware that if on Tamsulosin, a situation could be developing that might be missed or at least until it becomes problematical.
