I think it's fair to say we all support each other on here. The following link was posted earlier this year and may be more what you are looking for. When I first joined this site many years ago there was a large number of women on here who supported each other and all of us. Not sure if there already is a women's support section on here.

There is also a prostate cancer Facebook page for women. I will see if I can find a link.

Thanks Chris

Hi Flora.

There are countless wives and partners on this forum who have loved ones suffering from this disease.

I have always maintained that they suffer as much as those with the cancer.

You will get support here.

Initially my wife was suffering with how the disease had changed me and our relationship. She attempted to get counselling from the NHS but there was an 8 month waiting list.

We discovered that there was a support group for wives, husbands and partners at one of the local hospitals. Fortunately by the time we'd found this valuable resource we'd both adapted to our new lifestyle and the problems resulting from it.

Personally we found the first few months the most difficult, things gradually improve.

One of our ladies, Leila, recently started a conversation, which you might find helpful.

Good luck to you both.
