Blood in urine - linked to pump use?

I’m now 14 months post op. I’ve just had my 3rd psa test post op - <0.001 so as good as it gets. By coincidence I’ve also just had a regular health MOT with my GP. My urine sample had trace blood in both samples. GP is mystified as there’s no sign of a UTI or other issues. The only thing he thinks it could be is linked to the pump use for ED. I’m having another urine test after laying off the pump for a week to see if that is the issue if not he will refer me back to urology. Anyone else had similar issues? Thanks

Thanks - I had a break from the pump re tested and same result. The GP has now referred me back to Urology and I have an appointment this week for further tests which sound eye watering! He was mystified and said if my records had not shown I had had my prostrate removed he would have suspected prostrate issues! Oh well will find out more in the next few weeks.

Just an update after a spending a few hours at the hospital with no waits and  getting scanned and tested the conclusion was theres nothing to be seen ! Everything’s clear and the microscopic blood is probably a result of the wounds still healing even after nearly 18 months. Good news but it does leave me with a sense of ‘cry wolf’ syndrome and something could get missed in future. Who knows as will have to see what future tests show. It was so microscopic that I never noticed and it was the GP being cautious. Better safe than sorry I suppose. Onwards and upwards and only now a few to the next PSA test. They come round quickly!

Hello mate thanks for the update.👍

Somehow I missed your post that your PSA was still undetectable after 14 months post op. Great result and long may they continue.

Thanks - I’m keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way but you never know ! No point worrying it will be what it will be and I can’t do anything about it.
