We went to see this yesterday, if you’re in Edinburgh for the Festival it might be worth a visit, but it’s only on this week. So much of it resonated with me, Mark who plays the lead character had a Prostatectomy 9 years ago and is doing well. They are trying to raise awareness of PCa and encourage men to get tested. I think they are going on the road with the play after the Festival.
I really enjoyed it, so much of it resonated with me. The only thing that disappointment me was that they didn’t really get the message across to get tested and diagnosed early, and when they were having one of their chats about treatment, HT and RT wasn’t even mentioned. I’m not sure whether this was intentional but I think it’s so important to get tested early if you have(like me) ANY symptoms. I didn’t, and as a result RARP was ruled out.
