Not exactly the same situation, but I asked my GP to do a referral letter to see a professor in a different area. That was all pre COVID and I got to see the professor within a month.

Thanks Chris

There's a lot of information on the NHS website, see below.   In theory you can ask who-ever is treating you at any stage to be referred elsewhere in the NHS.  You'll need to be sure they can treat you in the right timescale.   If you want to go to a private facility you'll have to pay unless they have an agreement.

I was offered treatment at 3 hospitals who all had different capabilities.  Since then I've been told if I need or want a psma scan I'll be referred to another NHS hospital 50 miles away for the scan.  Unless I pay, but they're all about 50 miles away anyway.

If you could specify the

- treatment that I want -

It would be helpful ?

It's safe to say though that they are all reading from the same page  even private healthcare , many NHS doctors  also work privately.

NHS  has been partnered to WEF and is increasingly under the control of US Big pharma
