Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the best use of this forum, so apologies if it distracts from the main topics, but I just wanted to thank you all for being so wonderfully supportive and helpful. I joined a week ago as my Father's prostate cancer has returned with a PSA count of >5,000 and I wanted to find information about what to expect. I was going to post a barrage of questions but instead I browsed the various threads and found all the information I needed for now... so since there isn't one particular person to thank, I just wanted to thank you all.

Much love

Edit - the following day: Well, some of the scans have come back and it has certainly metastasised. I don't know the specific details yet, but there is 'extensive bone cancer' 'all over' his body (2nd hand info). Awaiting more info about about lungs\chest and marrow. Thanks to what I have learnt from this forum, I don't feel panic or despair, just a pragmatic determination for the next steps while I prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Thanks again.

Hi Moustache Man,

Nobody needs to apologise for anything on this forum. We’re here to help everyone and this forum has been a saviour for me when going through this. I wish your dad all the best and he is lucky to have a son like you who is looking out for him.
