My NanoKnife procedure was done March 2024 (Chicago US)
Here in the US the initial Safety Trial has just completed with very good results, but these are very early results. I am seeking info on longer term European results.
77yo
Pre procedure: Gleason 3+5, PSA 6.54, PHI 39.46, T2b, PI-RADS 4
5 months post procedure
PSA 1.96 PHI 28.21 (MRI scheduled for September)
My post procedure goal was to land at Active Surveillance and hopefully remain there indefinitely. This procedure was a QOL choice based on its supposed minimal side effects. I was also intrigued with this procedure because it supposedly can be retreated if necessary and it should not eliminate the possibility of RP or Radiation therapy. Time will tell.
I am very interested to hear from others about their NanoKnife experience. I was told that this procedure has been performed about 1000 times at King Edward VII (London)…cheers Richard
