Most men have a form of HT to help restrain and shrink tumour(s). I don't think there is much evidence that herbal remedies help although some men do take them. Where this is the case a man should inform his consultant as some herbal remedies could work against any prescribed HT.
Some men follow a self imposed diet but by the time you have cancer this is unlikely to achieve much. Of course it is good to have a healthy diet limiting the intake of dairy products and excessive consumption of red meat, whether you have cancer or not.
