yes, Matron has been gone for some time. If I remember correctly,  she also took a break last year as well but I don’t remember it being as long as this. Her contributions are invaluable.

Apparently, Lyn has been here for 15 years with almost 15,000 posts.

The lady is a living legend. 

I hope that she is OK and just taking a long break.

It's been 6 months since Lyn last posted and I'm not on Facebook, so I can't follow that line of enquiry.

 I know people need a break from here and maybe she's even decided to 'retire' from here permanently but she's done so much, for so long, for others. I just hope that she is okay.

Hi Adrian has Lyn not responded to any comments lately or have I missed them, hope she & her hubby are ok.

Its not the same without matron giving her advice & experience on here.

Hi Jeff,

It's eight months since Lyn last posted. I  hope that she, John and the rest of their family are OK. From what Andy says she's fine, just very busy.

It's a shame her contribution to the forum was immense and she's sorely missed.

There are several others, 2 or 3 who were very poorly, who've not posted for ages. I hope that they're all OK as well.
