Anxious about change to PSA reading

A little about me. 56 years old. Radical prostatectomy in March 2022.

March 2024 PSA reading < 0.01 (NHS)

June 2024 Went private as NHS Blood tests in South London unavailable result < 0.03

September 2024 NHS PSA result < 0.03 no action required

I have asked the surgery if my reading has actually increased or if the lab is calibrating differently. I know some are undetectable < 0.03.

My Doctor telephone appointment is on 4/10 so a while off.

I realise 0.03 is still low and I am probably being overly anxious but has anyone had a similar experience.

Got the PSA jitters, something that most people in this community will have experienced at some time or other.

Take care everyone.

Effectively there is no difference between <0.01 and <0.03.  Your results for both, mean that they are lower than what each laboratory measures to.

Thanks Adrian

Maybe the Surgery or Synovsis (the Company that was allegedly hacked by the Russians) has switched to a different lab now.  Must be quite a backlog of blood tests to get through.

Overthinking this now I know. Been a bag of nerves all day.

You are amazing for your quick reply.

Thanks again.
