I am 56 years old black man.

I have completed my palliative radiotherapy of the pelvic last year and my PSA is less than 1.5 now.

I use the VED quite well but I need my sexual feelings back.

Diagnosed with prostrate cancer 5 years ago and been on HT

Goserelin 10.8mg implant

With this I have no more sexual feelings.

Is there no alternative to this HT?

The hormone therapy will suppress sexual feelings, not necessarily completely, but very significantly. There isn't currently any alternative to HT.

You said in an old post you were given Tadalafil but hadn't used it, and you also said you had managed some erections while on HT. Do try the Tadalafil - it will improve erections. Some erotica/porn might help too, but if you have a partner, there could be a risk of it damaging your relationship, so be careful there.

I know how you are feeling, It’s really hard for a man(especially a younger man like yourself) not having sexual feelings I think, and can also affect your partner too. I assume an HT holiday has been ruled out? I’m not sure how long it takes for your libido to come back if you stop taking HT but I’m waiting for this to happen🤞🤞🤞

Have your tried sensual touching with your partner. I’ve been on HT for 2 years but finished 6 months ago and still have zero libido. However I find this does give me sexual pleasure and I can get erections when my wife touches me in certain ways and places. I find my inner thighs, perineum and nipples are my most sensitive zones.
