'Feeling in the wilderness', is a great description Davey.
When first diagnosed, despite knowing that the disease is common, you can feel a great sense of isolation. It is comforting knowing that you are not alone, and getting help and support from others who have shared experiences.
This is why this forum is so good. However, it should be borne in mind, that because most who post on here have had difficulties and problems, it is biased towards poorer outcomes.
There will be thousands of men who never need us because their treatment and recoveries have been unproblematic.
