I recognise that I am far luckier than most men posting on this forum - cancer free after 6.5 years and readily able to masturbate to a dry orgasm - but nothing with my long suffering wife, hence the DIY sex. I forgot to take my Tamsulosin tablet on Sunday night and did not realise until I was finding it difficult to wee on Monday morning. I read the instructions and established that I'd have to wait until my normal time to take the next tablet. I then noticed the section on Common Side Effects. This stated that a typical side effect was dry orgasms. I had just thought that my dry orgasms were due to inability to produce semen due to the radiotherapy and that cancer had got to one seminal vesical and destroyed it. I waited a while, pondering this information and, having had a slow, painful wee, I decided to see what happened if I tried an orgasm. Well, surprise, surprise, the Tamsulosin had worn off and loads of semen was seen for the first time in years! Delighted, I thought I'd pass this onto the forum. Don't stop taking your Tamsulosin to try - this was just a happy incident worthy of comment. Luckily, I got away with forgetting the tablet and the following morning, normal wee flow rate was resumed along with a dry orgasm when checked. As I said, I'm luckier than most but do need Tamsulosin and a sexually active wife.......
