Peyronies disease.....bent penis after using caverject

Hi,

has anyone else suffered damaged penis tissue after prolonged erections? I had my non nerve sparing op in 2023 and have used caverject a number of times. The issue always has been prolonged erections of around 4hrs every time. I've cut down the amount I inject to try and reduce the strength and continuous raging painfull tent pole

Recently I've noticed a difference in length when using my pump when doing my rehab and did'nt think anything about it until this weekend. After my injection of Caverject my penis swell up as required but with a pronounced curve in it. Making any chance of fun nul and void. Without making light of it it was more like a banana with its curve but heading downwards not up! I've done some research and it seems because of the prolonged erections I've caused tissue damage causing the curve -  its called Peyronies Disease.

Its yet another problem that has hit me and makes me feel bloody useless and washed up at 53.....the injections are obviously a problem for me and now have to yet again ring my GP explaining more issues. When will this end & what other options do I have as have same issues with both caverject & invicorp?

Luckily my wife has been awesome and understanding but I feel like I'm letting her down and its becoming a real issue for me personally. It just keeps eating away at me and making me miserable.

What are my other options?

Many Thanks

Hi Barry,

As Adrian says I have Peyronie’s disease…at first it was a little kink at the base, then developed into kinks On both sides and looks like an hour glass. I went privately to see a specialist and he recommended using the SomaCorrect pump for correction. There’s also another device on the iMedicare site which looks more like something straight out BDSM chamber…not that I’ve ever been on one I might add🤣🤣🤣

They reckon mine was caused by a combination of HT and RT, just another side effect of this awful treatment.

The pump has helped and I no longer have any pain , just a sad, shrunk and deformed member. When I do get an erection I just feel very sad as it use to be solid as a rock. Not sure if a pumps right for you though because it’s been caused by over long erections.

There’s also an Op but the consultant told me the chances of success are not great…you’re a lot younger though so maybe better for you.

I know how you feel….it really makes me  feel totally emasculated. I currently have zero libido but when it hopefully comes back I have no idea how I’m going to feel. If I was you I would seek out a private specialist, maybe cost you £250 but well worth it. And don’t be surprise if he asks to look at the palms of your hands!

Good luck,

Derek

If it's any comfort, Derek, I gradually developed it too after RT/HT, but after a few years it went away on its own without treatment, although I was using a pump too. Apparently this is pretty common, so don't give up hope.

Hi Barry.

I think Decho suffers the same. Are you alternating which side of Percy that you're injecting?

Yes....I've tried but had more luck with getting an erection when injecting on one side vs the other. I think its the 4hr erections (sometimes a little over) that's done the damage.

With Invicorp I get a two hour stiffy. After we've done the business. I've bought some curtain rings and we play hoopla, so as not to waste the remaining hour and fifty minutes. 🙂

I’ve actually wondered what would happen if I used an injection. With the pump I only get to about 60% erect. I’ve practiced quite a bit with the rings supplied, but although it looks erect inside the cylinder, as soon as release the vacuum and slide off the ring(at the same time!) it’s not that great😟

I actually get better erections through foreplay with my wife.
