i am 58 Black caribbean background snd part of high risk group. i saw the  video by actor Colin Macfarlane on social media and took the tests. after my biopsy i was diagnosed with ‘score’ 7  out of 10 on the  scale. i am due further bone scans next week before the doctors can recommend removal or radiotherapy

the had sex 3 weeks after biopsy partner gave me hand relief. on climaxing blood squirted out. that scared the life out off me.  i tried a week later full sex with condom and blood in condom. that again freaked us both out

is this common?

has anyone had normal sex after removal?

i heard that erectile dysfunction is a comk n side ferret?  Is it quite high? half get ED problems?

i am scared to have sex after the incident with the blood. so maybe i won’t feel i’m missing?

Hi,

Ejaculating blood following a biopsy is fairly common, I remember it happening to me a few times. Don't be surprised if it goes darker over the next few days or so though.

As for sex after surgery, there won't be anything to ejaculate.

If you're thinking of surgery, I think it's important to ask your surgeon if it will be nerve sparing because this will be important for erections.

Hopefully others will add comments here.

Good luck,

Kev.

This is entirely normal. It's bad that you weren't told about it when you had your biopsy. It will clear up over the next month or two.

If you ejaculate within 3-4 days of the biopsy, it looks like tomato ketchup.

After that, it looks like brown sauce (the iron from the hemoglobin has literally gone rusty, so it's rust coloured).

It is really bad they don't warn you of this, but it is entirely expected.

It's probably a good idea to try and get all the blood out.

Similar experience to Andy ,but I had pink blancmange in-between the ketchup and brown sauce From biopsy to my surgery was 4 months, in that time the ejaculated fluid became very watery.

Thanks Chris
