PSMA PET at 0.5 probably, treatment then dependant on if it finds anything and where.

So nothing at the moment probably we just concerned that it appears to have doubled in 3 months

PSA now 0.27 which has obviously worried us a lot. Telephone call from urology cancer nurse booked for Thursday. I’m guessing they will arrange a pet scan to decide the next course of action. Does anyone know the average waiting time is? We are booked to go to Dubai to be with our daughter, son in law and 3 month old grandaughter but obviously don’t want to delay any treatment on view of the rapidly increasing PSA. I’m expecting hormone treatment and maybe radio if any hotspots found. Does this sound right.

sorry this is such a long post

thanks for reading

Apollo, easy for me to say because I have been there, no point worrying or panicking, it doesn't help.

You "may" have to wait for the PSA to rise a little more. My profile lists my PSA results and treatments. A PSMA scan and SABR treatment to any hot spots sounds like a plan.

I have a blood test on Thursday and see the oncologist next week,if the PSA is 3.0 we do another scan.

Hope all goes well at your next meeting.

Thanks Chris
