Have tried Guinness Zero? You can even mix and match it with the real stuff to reduce your alcohol intake.

Yeah, Guinness zero is good. They've spent millions on it to make it taste just the same as the real stuff. It even gives you a hangover if you have enough.😄

Not that far behind you. Was diagnosed on 9th January. I've got meeting in 2 weeks with surgeons and oncologist. Sleep is a mega problem, when it's night and everyone is asleep, mind racing, what if this and what if that. I'm gleason 3+4 PSA 7.21. Cancer localised and within prostate. So far the guidance has been mainly for surgery. I'm in 2 minds currently. I'm 57

Hi Arthur

Yeah sounds very similar waiting for the PET scan results was torture woke up every night around 3am mind racing, once the results came back ok I was sleeping ok.

My partner and I want through all the pros and cons with treament I was between a rock and a hard place because I have a bad overactive bladder so surgery possibly could of made my bladder worse so we went for the hormone radiotherapy treament, the oncologist reassured me they had medication to help with my bladder while having to have a full bladder but found out Wednesday from the prostate cancer nurse when having my first injection I'm on the medication already which isn't great as it isn't helping

A prostate nurse got me a prostate buddy to ring me who has similar symptoms with his bladder to give me some tips of how he got through radiotherapy without wanting to wee during treatment it turned out he had his radiotherapy with a empty bladder 🙄 which a few guys on the forums have also had

Been very lucky with no side effects as yet but bound to get one or two

Best wishes

Peter
