A question of taste

Hello

I have been on Prostap injections since February (and had radiotherapy in the early summer). Around July I started losing my sense of taste of food and that has got steadily worse.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there anything that helps?

Hi,

No chance that you have had Covid? I know some men get it but so lightly they are not aware but loss of taste and or smell are symptoms. I can't recall anybody else mentionong loss of taste due to having had RT and Prostap but it is possible - individuals can react differently to these treatments. Interesting if anybody else believe they are similarly affected.

As Barry said, maybe you have had Covid. I was only ever diagnosed with Covid once and had zero symptoms. I only tested as a family member had Covid at the time so I tested as a precaution. Since then I have very little sense of smell. Sometimes I'll get a whiff of something (perfume, aftershave etc) but then when I sniff again it has gone.
