Arousal Incontinence

Hey Guys,

Been a while since I've been here. Removal in Oct of 23. No more pain and I feel very good. I went from a lot of daytime / night time leakage to slight once in a while when I clear my throat, sneeze ect but it's very minimal. I wear a very light pad. Being a competitive body builder and abusing steroids my adult life my erections have always been off. I've used a Trimix shot to obtain an erection for the last 25 or so years and it's always worked well. I'm presently 68 and continue to use the shot for a good erection. Now for my problem...... Although I'm good all day and night, I have a bad case of arousal incontinence, so bad I can not have sex with my wife. My pleasure is limited to masterbating in the shower. I can somewhat control it with an adjustable ring but not enough for the bedroom. I've given up on the kegals. Has anyone had this issue and been able to overcome it... no pun intended. Thanks for reading.

Hi Cooper. There are a few of us on here who have problems with climacturia. The obvious answer (but generally not a preferred one) is to wear a condom. I don't. From my own experience I find leakage is less of a problem while horizontal so I avoid any foreplay in the standing position. Also I find it is less of a problem in the morning when my bladder sphincter is not tired and leaky. Regarding kegels, all of the advice seems to point to keep doing them. Chris

Unless you're a contortionist, it's not you taking the risk. 😁

I suspect I would be "minus 1 dick" if I gave her a mouthful of sauvignon blanc!

Hi Cooper.

I  had non nerve sparing surgery in Feb 23.  I can only get an erection with Invicorp. I  suffered with peeing when climaxing. It took well over a year before it gradually started to get less frequent.

I wish you well mate and hope it sorts itself out.

Hi, I sometimes get a little leakage during unplanned foreplay, so I have to break off to go and empty my bladder. Same goes if I know I'm going to make advances, I'll make sure I'm empty to mitigate against the odd dribble.

We're used to it now and my wife is very understanding.

Hopefully you'll find a way to have fun without being put off.

Good luck.

Kev.

I don't let the wife ravish me when I've been to the Club 🙄, just in case I drown her. 😁.

Hi Couper

We all deal with this problem in different ways; there are no easy answers. I have suffered from leakage when sexually excited and when I orgasm and also suffer from erectile dysfunction since my prostatectomy over 13 years ago. Initially it seemed that this would be the end of our sex life. However we found a solution that is ideal for us: I use VEDs (vacuum pumps) and constricting rings for ED which solved the problem of leakage because the rings stops any ejaculated urine to come through and guarantees a strong and reliable erection for half an hour. Of course there are disadvantages: it is not easy to get used to using the pump and the rings and the issue of how to incorporate a VED during a love-making session. This approach has had unintended benefit to our sex life - oral sex has become one of the alternatives now available to us - because there is no messiness associated with orgasms to deal with. For us it is a win win situation. If you or anyone else has a similar problem you may like to have a look at the following link:

Agree the VED ring stops any leaks, I even noticed with the ring on I cannot pass urine!
