Precision point biopsy

Hi guys, it's a while since I was on here, which is normally a good thing! I've just had my 5 yearly biopsy ( precision point with local anaesthetic). I know this has been done before, but have seen what looks like a lot of blood in my ejaculate. I'm now in week 2 and it looks like treacle ๐Ÿคจ. I realise there will be a lot of damage internally,  (I could see the needle this time). But I normally have pretty good flow which is now compromised/reduced. I'm expecting things to clear up before I get my results, but just thought I'd ask your thoughts/ advice. All the best! Robin

Hi Pocket,

I had my 2nd biopsy 4 weeks ago, and still getting the treacle like heavily scarlet semen. I'm not really concerned as had this last time.

My flow is not as good this time, but my assumption is healing/swelling that will subside over time.

I've noticed ejaculation makes it worse for a day, but then flow improves again. And ejaculating gives me that very annoying internal itch around the prostate area, the one you cant get to.

Thanks for that, I had never given a thought to the itching, but yes it's been driving me/my nuts! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and hope your onward journey isn't too traumatic.

Hoping my results are OK ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

the following was supposed to be a posted conversation but it would not allow me, so I found your subject matter to be similar

First of all, let me say how thrilled I was to find a group that gave me straight answers in  a “real world” fashion.

I had read online that I would have some “blood in semen” after the biopsy, but I was not at all prepared for the horrific scene after cleaning my pipes 2 days after the biopsy.

I can’t find the conversations I had searched and found that inspired me to join this forum, but I was soooooo relieved to hear all the same stories.  A virtual murder scene for a good number of days or weeks.

On a good note, I got the results today, and although I have some issues with the enlarged prostate, I am cancer free.  This was stellar news since my dad is undergoing treatment as we speak.

again! I appreciate this forum
