Impact of Apelutamide on Statins

Does anyone have any experience of the effect that Apelutamide has on preventing statins from working?  Since starting on Apelutamide a year ago my hereditary cholesterol has risen as the effect of the statins has been blocked by the Apelutamide.  I have been advised by a coronary consultant that I need injections of Inclisiran.  Unfortunately my GP can't provide this, and on the open market each 3 monthly jab costs >£2,000.

Has anyone else been in this situation, who can provide any advice?

Tough one, if you have familial hypercholesterolaemia you will benefit from maintaining treatment. If statins work and there isn't an available alternative, one has to ask whether there would be a less of a problem with a different hormone therapy.

Probably needs a discussion with your oncologist.

I also want to know that.
