Can sex toys help with regaining erections post RALP

I am wanting to know if any male sex toys (sleeves/wands/masturbators) can help with getting erections following non-nerve sparing RALP. Or is that wishful thinking?

I had RALP 9 months ago and am starting to regain nice sensations in my groin which is encouraging. I use the Soma Response 2 pump a few times a week which together with the tension rings provided with the pump has allowed me to achieve dry ejaculations by masturbating. That’s great for my mental health.

But I am curious. Are there any sex toys that could help in getting an erection without using the penis pump? If so I will buy a toy. Anyone had success doing the same? Can anyone recommend specific toys? Or am I simply wasting my time?

TIA

There have been a few post about toys , put vibrator into the search box and it should come up with some more info.

I seem to recall there being some very expensive toys mentioned that didn't live up to the advertised claims.

Also Google a touchy subject, there are some good tips and info on there, it is an Australian site , I think a lot of the videos are now on you tube. I think Victoria has a brilliant way of putting things.

Thanks Chris

Hi.

Hot Octopuss pulse solo has had good reviews on here, apparently it was designed for men with erectile dysfunction.

Good luck. 👍

Hi again.

I'm sorry I didn't read your post as thoroughly as I should have done.

You are using a pump to get erections which is good for penile rehabilitation. I'm not medically trained, but as far as I'm aware anything that improves blood flow to the penis is good, whether that be ED tablets, injections or pumps.

I've never used pumps. I struggle to pump up my bike tyres, let alone my penis. I use Invicorp. It does the trick. I get an erection for about 3 hours. After penetrative sex, I class the remaining 2 hours 55 minutes as rehab. 🙂

As pumps are often sold on sex toy sites, I suppose they could be described as a sex toy? I don't think anyone has yet invented anything that sucks as well as a pump and also resembles a bodily orifice of your choice. I never seen any on Dragon's Den, but would love to see the look on Deborah Meaden's face if they did.🙂

Of course, you don't need an erection to orgasm. Flaccid masturbation is a skill worth learning, and there are sex toys that can pleasure men with erectile dysfunction. However, no matter how pleasurable these flaccid alternatives are, because they don't increase penile blood flow, I suppose they don't improve penile rehabilitation.

Thanks Colwickchris. I have checked the Touchy Subject site and it looks very good. Thanks for the tip as it seems like just the sort of thing I was looking for. The Hot Octopussy Solo appears to be just the ticket, if a bit noisy - best close the bedroom windows before using as I wouldn't want to upset the neighbours 😆
